We Analyse It Automatically

  • OCR extraction works on both digital and scanned PDFs
  • Every transaction is categorised — income, expenses, transfers
  • Income sources identified: employment, self-employed, benefits, rental
  • 3-month rolling average and consistency score calculated
  • Risk flags detected: gambling, overdrafts, BNPL, payday loans, cash deposits
  • Risk score assigned: Low, Moderate, Elevated, or High

Common Questions

Everything you need to know before getting started.

How long does processing take?

Most statements are processed in under 60 seconds. Complex or lengthy statements may take up to 2 minutes.

What happens to my file after processing?

Your uploaded file and all extracted data are automatically and permanently deleted within 60 minutes of upload. We never store statement content beyond this window.

Do I need to install any software?

No. AutoConvertPros is entirely web-based. It works in any modern browser on any device — no installation required.

What if the bank statement is scanned or poor quality?

Our system uses a hybrid OCR approach — clean digital PDFs are processed using fast local OCR, while scanned or low-quality pages are automatically escalated to cloud OCR for higher accuracy.

Can I process statements for multiple clients?

Yes. Each upload is treated as a separate statement. On Professional and above plans you can process multiple statements per month. Use the case reference field to keep client files organised.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The free plan includes 1 statement per month so you can try the service before upgrading. No credit card required.

Good to know

What Happens If Something Goes Wrong

AutoConvertPros is built to handle most UK bank statement formats, but here's what you'll see in edge cases.

🏦

Bank not recognised

If we cannot identify the bank format, you'll see a clear message explaining which banks are currently supported. We're continuously adding new formats — contact us if yours is missing.

📄

Corrupted or unreadable PDF

If the PDF cannot be opened or is too low quality to extract text, you'll be prompted to upload a cleaner copy or try a different export from your online banking.

🔒

Wrong password

If you enter an incorrect password for a protected PDF, you'll be asked to try again. No processing charge is incurred for failed password attempts.

⏱️

Processing timeout

On rare occasions, large or complex statements may take longer than 60 seconds. If processing times out, your statement quota is not consumed and you can re-submit.

On paid plans, contact support@autoconvertpros.com for manual review of any disputed output within 1 working day.
